Horizon announces important software updates

Today the HORIZON development team released version 12.5 of its Lab Information Management System. The update adds numerous system enhancements designed to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Key enhancements that users can take advantage of immediately include:

• Ad hoc query capabilities – Allows for users to quickly query data, export the results and share the data immediately.
• Alert functions – Enables alerts to be set up that send notifications when logbook rows are marked as failed.
• Chart improvements – Creates the option to export charts to a data file that can be used with third-party software.
• Pre-login features – Gives testers the ability to pre-populate fields for regularly scheduled testing. This feature saves time and creates more accurate data.
