Term licenses and the COVID-19 pandemic

HORIZON Lab Systems is pleased to offer term licenses to clients that have a temporary to one-year requirement for additional laboratory staff. HORIZON has fielded many calls from our public health laboratory clients needing additional staff to have access to the LIMS to meet their increased workload testing for COVID-19. COVID testing has put many laboratories under great strain to process many samples quickly.

Term licenses, for whatever time period they are requested for, essentially fall away prior to any annual maintenance fees coming due. This allows laboratories to add additional staff and give them the proper access to LIMS on an as needed basis.

HORIZON Lab Systems is committed to working with and adjusting to our clients’ needs as we all figure out the “new normal”. Public Health and clinical laboratories are critical in finding our way forward during this pandemic and will remain front and center for years to come. HORIZON is pleased to work with many Public Health Labs (PHLs) around the country and abroad.
